SPANISH ARMED FORCES
Challenge
Evaluate how physical and mental stress affects the cognitive and emotional capacities of elite military personnel after a demanding test.
Solution
The responses of the military personnel were measured before and after the test using Kopernica to analyze changes in their cognitive and emotional capacities under stressful conditions and in a neutral context.
ROBOTS FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
Challenge
Develop technological solutions that enable senior citizens to live more independently, safely, and with a better quality of life, especially in urban and rural environments.
Solution
Bumerania, together with the Valencia Institute of Biomechanics, implemented social robots capable of monitoring vital signs, detecting falls, reminding medication, and providing remote assistance, improving care and well-being for seniors through pilot projects in various municipalities.
ISABEL ZENDAL NURSE HOSPITAL
Challenge
Provide comprehensive, accessible, and compassionate care to people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), improving their quality of life and that of their caregivers.
Solution
Project in collaboration with the Right Care Foundation at Isabel Zendal Nurse Hospital, which includes the implementation of a social robot to accompany patients, facilitate communication, and enhance more compassionate, empathetic, and personalized care.
Alicante Science Park
Challenge
The reception staff had to manage a high volume of visitors, making it difficult to provide personalized and efficient service in an environment dedicated to innovation.
Solution
A Bumerania receptionist robot was implemented, capable of welcoming visitors, providing institutional information, managing appointments, and guiding visitors through the facilities.
ROBOTS FOR UTERINE AND RECTAL SURGERY
Challenge
Improve precision, safety, and efficiency in long-duration surgical procedures requiring internal manipulation of the uterus and/or rectum, optimizing the use of medical staff.
Solution
Development of a compact and advanced robotic manipulator, based on a UR3 arm, integrating haptic control, force sensor, and voice control, facilitating the surgeon’s work and reducing intervention times. Project in collaboration with the Research Foundation of the Valencia General University Hospital, currently in the development and validation phase.
ROBOTS FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED
Challenge
Facilitate mobility and autonomy for visually impaired individuals in complex public spaces, removing accessibility barriers.
Solution
Development of a social robot with a sensorized handle, 360º LIDAR, depth cameras, linear sensors, and voice interaction, which guides users in places such as airports, shopping centers, and hospitals. Project carried out in collaboration with Fundación ONCE through Inserta Innovación within the AccessRobots program.

Challenge
Optimize room service at the Magic Games Hotel, offering a more efficient, modern, and contactless experience tailored to the new expectations of the hospitality industry.
Solution
Implementation of Bumerania Robotics’ Room Service Robot at Magic Games Hotel, capable of performing autonomous deliveries, using elevators, operating 24/7, and interacting with guests, improving service efficiency and customer experience.

Managing a hotel with high occupancy involves coordinating multiple repetitive tasks that consume staff time, causing delays and affecting the guest experience.
Solution
The integration of the LuckyBot Pro robot automates deliveries and pickups, reduces unnecessary movement, and frees up the human team to focus on what matters most: personalized attention.

AGRICULTURAL ROBOT
Challenge
Develop a technological solution to autonomously and sustainably care for crops without the need for herbicides, improving the profitability of agricultural operations.
Solution
Design of an agricultural robot that uses artificial intelligence, cameras, and sensors to precisely detect and eliminate weeds without chemicals. It operates autonomously powered by solar energy, offers modularity for various tasks, generates crop reports, and can be managed remotely. The project was awarded the 1st Agroinnova Prize by Mercalicante.
