What are the Bumerania National Robotics Awards?
New features and prizes in the 2025 edition
In the 2025 edition, the prizes will be significantly increased:
- Cash prizes for each finalist: each partner university will award a prize of €500 to the best robotics project.
- Diploma: all finalists will receive a diploma.
- Grand prize for the winner: the winner of the final phase will win a total prize of €10,000.
- Opportunity to make your project a reality: The winner of the final will enter a mentoring programme with Bumerania.
- International competition: This year, the event is expanding, allowing the participation of universities not only from Spain, but from all over the world, which raises the level of competition and prestige.
Stage 1
Registration of universities: interested universities must register to participate in the competition.
Stage 2
Submission of projects: students will submit their robotics projects during the December, June and July calls.
(Deadlines for submission: 30 September 2024 to 31 July 2025).
Stage 3
Selection of winners per university: each university will select its best project, which will compete in the national final.
Stage 4
Final competition: the winning projects from each university will compete against each other in the grand final, to be held at the Robotics 2025 National Convention in Alicante, where the winner of the €10,000 grand prize will be announced.
