Alicante, 25 September 2024 – Bumerania, a leading company in robotic solutions for the tourism sector, participated in the second edition of Canarias Destino Startup, a key event that brought together leading startups, entrepreneurs and experts in technological innovation. During the event, Bumerania presented its latest advances in the automation of hotel services through its robotic technology, attracting the attention of investors and professionals in the sector.
The event, organised by AJE Las Palmas and supported by the Government of the Canary Islands, has positioned itself as a benchmark for the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurial talent in the Canary Islands. This year’s edition was held at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium and was attended by more than 40 startups, who shared their projects and technological advances in key sectors such as tourism, sustainability and technology.
Isidro Fernández, CEO of Bumerania, presented the company’s achievements in the development of autonomous robots that improve the guest experience in hotels by automating tasks such as roomservice, customer service and internal logistics of tourist establishments. ‘Our proposal not only increases the operational efficiency of hotels, but also significantly improves customer satisfaction, offering a faster and more personalised service,’ he said during his speech.
Participation in Canarias Destino Startup not only served as a platform to showcase Bumerania’s technological solutions, but also to generate synergies and explore new opportunities for collaboration with other companies and entities in the sector. ‘We have had the opportunity to connect with professionals and companies that share our vision of a more efficient and automated tourism. Bumerania actively participated in the networking sessions, where new trends and challenges for the tourism sector in the Canary Islands, one of the most tourism-dependent regions in Europe, were discussed.
