Resounding success at the recent meeting of communication professionals in Alicante: keys to communicating in the ICT sector
More than fifty professionals met recently in Alicante to delve into successful communication strategies in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT). The event, jointly organised by Dircom CVRM and the Círculo de Directivos de Alicante, was attended by renowned speakers who shared their valuable experiences and knowledge.
César Romera, Director of Marketing, Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility at Kyndryl, highlighted the importance of clear and precise communication by technology companies. ‘It is essential that they communicate clearly what they offer and that companies understand how to take advantage of new technologies for effective communication,’ he said.
Mayte Vañó, Dircom of Distrito Digital CV, Nati de Mora, Dircom of Sofftek, and Isidro Fernández, CEO of Bumerania Robotics, agreed on the need to ‘humanise’ communication in the ICT sector and to value the advantages that technology offers companies. They emphasised the importance of coordinating sales, marketing and communication teams to achieve effective and coherent communication.
Nati de Mora pointed out the evolution in the communication of technology companies: ‘Until a few years ago, we only saw news about these companies in specialised media, but now they communicate through general media, social networks, etc. We must take advantage of this journalistic gap to offer journalists what they need’, he said.
Isidro Fernández added that the purchase of technological services is not an impulsive purchase, so communication is key to keep reminding potential customers of the solutions offered by the company.
The meeting was a resounding success, allowing ICT sector professionals to exchange ideas, learn first-hand experiences and update their knowledge on best practices in communication in this dynamic sector.
