Bumerania is pleased to announce a fundamental milestone on its path towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): the signing of a collaboration agreement with the ONCE Foundation for the development of a robot guide for people with low vision.
This project, which stems from Bumerania’s commitment to improving people’s lives, has the main objective of creating a more inclusive and accessible society for all.
A collaborative project with a great social impact
The agreement, signed between the Director General of the ONCE Foundation, José Luis Martínez Donoso, and the CEO of Bumerania, Isidro Fernández Oficial, marks the beginning of an innovative project that will provide people with low vision with a technological tool of great value. The robot, equipped with a sensorised arm, will guide users in public environments such as airports, museums or shopping centres, facilitating their mobility and autonomy.
At Bumerania, CSR is part of our DNA
For Bumerania, this project represents a further step in its firm commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. Since its creation, the company’s main objective has been to improve people’s lives, putting its technology and knowledge at the service of social needs.
A team dedicated to making a difference
The Bumerania team is deeply proud and grateful for the trust that the ONCE Foundation has placed in the company to carry out this project. The enthusiasm and effort of all employees translates into a daily commitment to accessibility and inclusion, fundamental values for the construction of a fairer and more equitable society.
This agreement is just the beginning
The signing of the agreement with the ONCE Foundation is an important milestone, but it is only the starting point of a path that Bumerania is committed to follow. The company will continue to work to develop innovative technological solutions that contribute to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities and to creating a more inclusive world for all.
